These terms cover using Dukani, an e-commerce platform operated by Ogrohayon Labs, to run an online store. By creating a store you agree to them.
What Dukani does
We provide the software your store runs on: a storefront, a dashboard, and connections to payment and courier services. We are not the seller. The contract for any order is between the shopper and the merchant, and the merchant is responsible for the goods, the delivery and any refund.
Your account
- You need a Google account to sign in. Keep it secure.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be 18 or older and legally able to run a business in Bangladesh.
- Give us accurate contact details and keep them current.
What you may not sell
Nothing illegal under Bangladeshi law. Beyond that, no weapons, no drugs or controlled substances, no counterfeit goods, no stolen property, no adult content, no live animals, and nothing that infringes someone else’s trademark or copyright.
We may suspend a store that breaks this, and we will tell you why.
Plans and payment
- The free plan is free, with the limits shown on the pricing page.
- Paid plans are billed monthly from your Dukani wallet, which you top up by bKash.
- If your wallet runs empty, your store enters a grace period before being downgraded. It is not deleted.
- Going over a plan limit does not hide anything. Existing products stay live; you simply cannot add more until you upgrade or remove some.
- Wallet top-ups are not refundable, but unused balance stays yours and carries over. If you delete your account, we refund any unused balance first.
Payments from your shoppers
Online payments are handled by SSLCommerz under their terms, and card details never reach Dukani. For cash on delivery, the money is between you, your shopper and your courier — Dukani is not involved and does not hold it.
Your content
Your products, images, text and customer list remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host and display them. You confirm you have the right to use whatever you upload.
Availability
We work to keep Dukani running and we monitor it, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages and failures happen. We do not offer a service-level guarantee on any plan.
Ending it
- You can stop using Dukani whenever you like.
- You can close your store from the dashboard at any time. Nothing is deleted, and you can reopen it within 12 months.
- You can delete a closed store’s data, and then your account. Store data is deleted 7 days after you ask, and you can cancel until then. We keep only the records the law requires, such as order amounts for tax. Your store’s address stays reserved so nobody else can take its name. The steps are on Delete your data.
- We may suspend or close a store that breaks these terms, abuses the platform, or harms other users — with notice where we reasonably can.
Liability
Dukani is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous three months.
Nothing here removes rights you have under Bangladeshi consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced here with a new date above, and continuing to use Dukani means accepting them.
