POS, for Windows
For the counter: sells, prints and keeps stock, with the internet off if it has to. Updates itself.
- Windows 10 or 11, about 15 MB. Installs for you alone; no administrator password.
- While we're in beta, Windows may say Windows protected your PC. Click More info, then Run anyway.
- No internet at the shop? Ask us for the offline installer on a USB stick.
Dukani POS, for Android
One app, three jobs: a counter POS, the office, or a rider's phone. It rings when an order comes in.
Coming soon: the Android app is almost ready.
- Android 8 or newer, on most phones from 2019 on. Sign in with the Gmail your shop's owner added you with.
- iPhone: not yet.
At the counter, in a few minutes
- 1 Install, then open it.
- 2 Type the pairing code from your dashboard.
- 3 Staff sign in with their PIN, and the first sale can go.
Your customers download nothing
Your shop opens in any browser from one link, and can be added to a phone's home screen like an app.
Questions
Is the POS free?
It's in every package. You buy only the printer, and a drawer and scanner if you want them.
Can I use a laptop?
Yes, any Windows 10 or 11 PC or laptop. A USB receipt printer and a barcode scanner plug straight in.
Mac or Linux?
Not yet. The dashboard works on any computer; the POS is Windows and Android for now.
Why isn't it on Google Play?
It will be, and the app you install from here will take its updates from Play then, with nothing lost. Until then it comes from this page and updates itself.
It says “App not installed”
The phone may be too old: Dukani POS needs Android 8 or newer on a 64-bit phone, as most phones from 2019 on are. If a test copy of Dukani POS is on the phone, uninstall it first. Still stuck? Ask us.
